Brittanie & Will get married
A tale as old as time….
On December 31st, 2016 Brittanie and Will said I do at The Vintage Rose in Orange, Ca. Their wedding planning process began by choosing a theme, which was A Tale As Old As Time. We don’t often host New Year’s Eve weddings, but their love story warranted a night as unique as their love.
Our rustic tables were adorned with black-and-white striped satin runners with white hydrangeas in mismatched vintage vases to give the tabletop a timeless feel. We used gold chargers with gold-brushed cutlery. Table numbers were framed in classic gold picture frames adding to the chic décor.
The ivy-wall was primped with white hydrangeas and candles. The couple chose to use our chiavary chairs, which were slightly covered with delicate white satin caps for the ceremony.
Their Love Story
Brittanie and Will met at the “teen scene” on a cruise in 2004. They were both on a trip with their respective families, and managed to make a lasting impression on each other. That first impression was enough to prompt them to become MySpace friends. Eventually their MySpace connection became a Facebook friendship. Ten years after first meeting on a cruise, they decided to meet up for a beer and catch up. Brittanie and Will said this was most definitely not a date! But, as fate would have it, they sipped on their beers and chit the chat so long that the brewery closed! By the end of the day, they had a sneaking suspicion this was, at least, sort-of a date. At that point, they both proclaimed themselves happily single and swore off any kind of serious relationship. In fact, Will was scheduled to deploy to Africa for a year, and would be leaving for training four months after their first non-date.
As you may suspect, after four months, love had hit them hard and their casual re-start was a thing of the past. They knew their love was real and the timing was perfect. Will’s deployment came and went, and by December of 2015 they were together again. Shortly after his return, in February of 2016, Will asked Brittanie the most important question he’s asked thus far, to which she responded “YES!” Overjoyed with excitement and ready to celebrate their love, Brittanie and Will set a date for their wedding with the Vintage Rose. They were wed on New Year’s Eve 2016. Congratulations!
Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Robinson!!! They lived… happily ever after!!!
