Wedding Day Responsibilities

🏛️ Venue & Setup

  • Arrive early to oversee venue access and setup

  • Direct vendors during load-in

  • Confirm tables, chairs, and ceremony layout are correct

  • Assist with décor placement (signage, centerpieces, welcome table, favors, etc.)

  • Ensure ceremony space is staged and photo-ready

🎶 Ceremony Management

  • Line up wedding party and family

  • Cue processional, music, and ceremony start

  • Coordinate timing with officiant and DJ

  • Manage guest seating and late arrivals

  • Handle ceremony transitions smoothly

🍽️ Reception Coordination

  • Oversee cocktail hour flow

  • Cue grand entrance, first dance, speeches, cake cutting, etc.

  • Coordinate with catering on meal timing

  • Keep event on schedule while staying flexible

  • Troubleshoot issues discreetly (vendor delays, weather changes, missing items)

🤍 Couple & Guest Support

  • Act as the couple’s main point of contact (so they can relax!)

  • Answer guest questions and direct traffic

  • Assist with small emergencies (bustle help, stain kit, last-minute fixes)

  • Keep couple hydrated and fed


📦 End-of-Night Duties

  • Coordinate vendor breakdown

  • Gather personal items (guest book, gifts, décor items)

  • Ensure venue rules and end times are followed

  • Final walk-through of space before departure
